June 08 - The Heart of Herbology Apprenticeship

Well, it's too late this year to sign up for the Heart of Herbology Apprenticeship but I do hope you will think about it for next year!

Why the Heart? Because a love of plants is what leads us to the deepest understanding of the intelligence of plants.

The intelligence? Well, how do they know what we need? They do because they are intelligent beings. A perennial plant will live far longer than a human unless it is destroyed. In that time it sustains itself, often with no help from anything other than rain from the sky and nourishment from mother earth.

We are finally shifting from a species centric view of the world, where everything is created for humans, to an understanding that we are simply a part of the fabric of the universe. This is supremely important because we have begun to realize the destruction humans have imposed on our world. As we begin to understand our accountability in the world, we also begin to understand how to live in harmony with other beings, plants and animals. We understand that power over is destructive and that by sharing power, recognizing the importance of all living things, we are preserving our planet, our sanity and our love.

In the Heart of Herbology Apprenticeship you will examine your role in this wonderful process of spiritual connection with the plant world as well as learning clinical and factual information. Join us for an experience that can change your life.
