May: Borage for Courage and Borage for Bees

Spring sprang with bursting energy and lots of rain - it’s been very busy. Finally I feel I have a grasp on seeing where plants are and how they are doing. Pathways needed cleared - first step. Without pathways your plants will get lost and you’ll be struggling to save them.

This year I’ve moved my roses out of their wine barrels and into the ground. Well, not all of them but all in front of the house. Today while weeding a particularly overgrown section I found my golden iris that didn’t bloom last year but is looking wonderful this year. It’s like finding old friends that you thought were gone.
